Meet Dr. Asma Al Aufi
Asma Academy is founded and led by Dr. Asma Al Aufi, an Omani academic, educator, researcher, and business leader with extensive experience in higher education, English language teaching, academic writing, IELTS preparation, and professional development.
Dr. Asma holds a PhD in Higher Education from Lancaster University, United Kingdom, with research expertise in policy enactment, academic standards, foundation programmes, and educational development. She also holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL and is an IELTS Train the Trainer certified educator, strengthening her expertise in IELTS preparation and English language training.
With many years of experience teaching English, academic writing, IELTS preparation, and research skills in higher education institutions in Oman, Dr. Asma brings both academic depth and practical classroom experience to Asma Academy.
Alongside her academic career, Dr. Asma is also active in business and leadership. Her background bridges academia, entrepreneurship, and professional training, allowing Asma Academy to offer learning that is both academically strong and practically relevant.
Through Asma Academy, Dr. Asma aims to create a trusted online learning space where learners can build confidence, improve their academic and professional communication, and prepare for opportunities beyond the classroom.
